Planar is all set and ready to launch the new 1080p projectors from its warehouse and were showcased at teh CEDIA. The shipping should commence next month or latest in March for these two projectors.

The PD8150 which comes with a neat 1920 xx 1080 resolution with 1000 ANSI lumens and 15,000 : 1 contrast ratio will cost you anywhere from USD 7500 - 8000.

The PD 8130 on the other hand is a  little bit cheaper at 6000 dollars with the same resolution! The only difference comes in the contrast ratio with this one offering you a slightly lower 10,000 : 1 ratio.
