Lets have a look at one of the more popular Plasma Televisions out there. The guys from Pioneer have come out with the addition to their line up of PDP technology TVs in the form of the Pioneer PDP-5070HD. The Pioneer PDP-5070HD is a 50 inch TV and has a massive viewable area. This plasma tv is not capable of the heavily talked about 1080p resolution but will take complete advantage of the current 720p. The Plasma tv is HDTV ready and you can plug in your Set top box or if you are getting your signal via Satellite. The TV has a 160 degree viewing angle and has a maximum resolution of 1365 x 768. It comes with 1 USB, 2 HDMI i/ps, 4 Composite video / audio ip, 2 S-Video input and a Subwoofer output. Other features like PIP and Split Screen can be enjoyed on this TV. It can only receive NTSC reception, so at the moment, there is no support for PAL. The Pioneer PDP-5070HD will leave you a nice hole in the pocket costing you close to $2600.  |
