Motorola MOTOFONE F3 has been launched in India last week for a cut price of Rs. 1650. This makes it one of the best phones in its class for the features as well as the price. My belief is that, this phone is just going to kill the competition with the Nokia handsets which are the Nokia 1100 and other entry level phones. With the price tag of a little over Rs. 1.5k you just cannot go wrong with this phone. We got the opportunity to try this phone and do a complete review on it. The MOTOFONE F3 uses the SCPL technology which is probably the next big thing coming from Motorola to roll out thinner and thinner handsets day by day. The phone is just 100% dedicated to calling and talking on it for hours. It is sleek, great to hold, simply superb audio quality and above all great network catching capability. The MOTOFONE uses very little power thus enabling it to go on for hours and hours. The SCPL - scalpel is the next advancement to the RAZR which reduces the thickness of the phone to half. Contrary to reviews where it is mentioned that this phone is not suitable for metros and big cities, i'd say this phone is for everyone who is concerned with talking on the phone and not listening to mp3s on it! After all if you wanted mp3s you can just go out and by the Zune or the iPod! The display is big enough and clear enough for you to read even without lenses. The only drawback i can think of in the phone is that it can accomodate only 2 lines of text which is a bit poor considering the size of the font used. The battery can last over 8 hours of talk time which is simply great. I'm getting one for myself on top of my P990i just for the heck of it. This phone is definitely a big YES!
