Well, for me surely the gadget of the month award should go to these wonderful devices. A Skype Wireless Phone, you can make and receive your Skype calls without starting your computer and using the Skype WiFi Handset. There are two at the moment which i saw at the Skype shop.
One is the Belkin Wi-Fi phone which is 802.11 b/g compatible, has a decent keypad and has support for security too. On the other hand there is also a Netgear Wifi phone i.e., the SPH101 which claims to be the world's first Wireless internet phone. Both these phonesa re Skype certified so i am sure you wont have any problems with them. The battery life of the SPH101 is about 3 hours and is 802.11g compatible.
You can make regular Skype calls as well as SkypeOut calls using these handsets.
The Belkin and the SPH101 will be available by August 2006. The Belkin is going to be priced at $190, while the SPH101 cost you a lot more, $300.
