There are strong rumors which have now been backed by photos of the next Sony Ericsson W880 handset. Hopefully for Sony Ericsson this phone will be as successful as the W850 and the W810 walkman phones it will be replacing. The to-be W880 is going by the codename - AI and comes with 3G and HSDPA compatibility. The W880 Mobile phone measures just about 9.4mm which is pretty thin and certainly the thinnest in the walkman series. The handset will come with a 1GB memory stick pro duo. The W880 and another low end W650 with lower specs is expected to be announced at the trade event in February 2007. The early indications are already present, and if this is the start to 2007, we can expect some magical stuff by the year end.  |
